The Black Forum Foundation of Mount Holly is dedicated to preserving history, empowering our community, and creating opportunities for future generations. What began as a grassroots effort to honor and uplift the voices of Black residents in Mount Holly has grown into a lasting foundation committed to education, equity, and cultural preservation.

Our Mission

We exist to celebrate and preserve the rich history of the Black community in Mount Holly, to foster fellowship and outreach, and to provide opportunities for advancement through scholarships, mentorship, and community programming. By honoring the past, engaging the present, and investing in the future, we strive to strengthen the bonds that connect us all.

What We Do

• Preserve Our History – We collect, share, and protect the stories, traditions, and contributions of the Black community in Mount Holly, ensuring that future generations understand and value this legacy.

• Empower Through Education – Through scholarships and educational programs, we help young people pursue their goals after high school, whether through college, trade school, or career pathways.

• Foster Fellowship & Outreach – We bring people together through monthly meetings, community events, and service opportunities that build connections and promote unity.

• Support Local Growth – By collaborating with schools, businesses, and organizations, we work to create opportunities that uplift families and encourage a stronger, more inclusive Mount Holly.
